Fowey River Resprin BridgeRiver Fowey cuts through an ancient wooded valley at Golitha Falls from high up on the Cornish Moors on its way down through the historic town of Lostwithiel and the village of Golant and onto Fowey with a deep water harbour, Polruan to the east and Fowey to the west linked by a water taxi.

The south east Cornish towns of Lostwithiel Callington, Saltash, St Austell, Torpoint the south eastern town linking Cornwall to Devon via the torpoint ferry, the market town of Liskeard with a Rail link to Looe along the east Looe valley and river. The east and west Looe rivers have lots of wildlife including the beautiful kingfisher.

The popular 'Taste South east Cornwall' events are hosted at the fishing ports of Looe and Polperro with a reputation for local food and fine dining.

 

Looe TownLooe is a busy fishing port, the second biggest in Cornwall with commercial fishing boats and pleasure boats entering and leaving Looe harbour as the tide comes and goes. Charlestown, an interesting coastal town in St Austell Bay hosts a Shipwreck and Heritage Centre and often used as a film location.
