Looe surrounds the second biggest fishing harbour in Cornwall, watch the flotilla of fishing boats and boating trips coming and going, there is always plenty to see and do with the sandy sheltered beaches of East Looe and the Banjo Pier to the rock pools and sand and stone beach at Hannafore at West Looe with a beautiful view of Looe island (St. George's Island) and Whitsand bay.

There are many historic buildings in Looe built at the turn of the 15th century. In the eighteenth century fishing for pilchards was the main stay of Looe as well as the export of copper ore from caradon hill this was transported by canal down through the East Looe valley and River, now Looe is a major tourist location.

The south west coastal path runs through Looe along Whitsand bay in the east to Talland bay and Polperro in the west, see the beautiful bays and cliff top walks in south east Cornwall.
